Abstract

The aim of this article is to present the direct impact of European Union citizens on reducing dependence on Russian energy resources. For this purpose, an analysis was made of the direct impact of EU citizens in reducing media imported from Russia. Next, the possibility of direct action by citizens and the EU, which can influence the reduction of imported energy carriers from Russia, is examined using the examples of energy consumption in households and passenger transport.
