Abstract
This article examines the process of transition from personal values to concrete philanthropic action in contemporary society. The author presents a theoretical framework that describes how values shape individuals’ motivations to engage in philanthropic activities. The article also discusses the importance of social and cultural contexts that influence philanthropic attitudes and behaviour.
Based on a literature review and empirical research, key drivers of philanthropic activity are presented. The author emphasises that understanding the mechanisms linking values and actions can lead to more effective strategies for promoting philanthropy among different social groups.
