Abstract

In terms of the development of Russian diplomacy, the 18th and 19th centuries were very specialic, as prominent representatives of Russian verbal culture of the time, with which the establishment, consolidation, expansion and international prestige of the Russian empire is linked, also held important diplomatic posts and positions at home and in various parts of the world. These personalities include, "rst of all, professional diplomats-writers such as Alexander Sergeyevich Griboyevich (the 230th anniversary of his birth will be commemorated in 2025) and, above all, Fyodor Ivanovich Tyutchev, whose 220th anniversary of his birth was commemorated in December 2023. One cannot fail to mention literary personalities of the calibre of D.I. Fonvizin /in this year, 2024, we will celebrate the 280th anniversary of his birth, although some critics mention the year of his birth as 1745/, K.N. Batyushkov, D.I. Dolgorukov, D.V. Venevitinova, A.K. Tolstoy, N.P. Ogarjov, K.N. Leontiev, A.S. Ionin and others. It will certainly be interesting to examine whether and how their literary activities in-uenced the positions they held in the domestic and international structures of the time, and also the very fact of the retrospective impact their diplomatic posts had on the further development of their artistic work.  We will especially focus on the literary work and, in addition, on the diplomatic activities of the currently jubilating professional diplomats of the F.I. Tyutchev /1803-1873/, A.S. Griboyedov /1795-1829/, and also on the jubilant original literary man and translator in the “College of Foreign A,airs of Russia” D.I. Fonvizin /1744-1792/.  !is study also commemorates the Day of Diplomatic Workers, which in the Russian Federation every year, more precisely since 2002, is solemnly, exceptionally and with dignity revived on February 10
